Crying day...
[info]Hey girl, whats on with you?!

Today was a crying day: It started right after waking up at 9am and tears were running down my face like rivers. Second phase was at breakfast where I spoilt my coffee with tears. In the afternoon I nearly caused an accident while driving by car to Stuttgart, because I suddenly had to cry at speed of 140 kmh (87 mph)...

Sure I sometimes have bad days, but the last bad day with such an intensity was long time ago and I actually thought this phases are history. Apparently they are not...

Today it was a mixture of stress, restlessness, exhaustion and of course depression. I must be careful not to let the depressive mood getting the upper hand. I can deal with stress and restlessness, but depression is a very crucial issue and I remember very well how easy it is to slip into it and how difficult getting out again!

But as [info]sonjaaa mentioned at http://sonjaaa.livejournal.com/291074.html at worst the second antidepressivants will help - this makes me hope although I hope I won't need not even the first one ;-)

Many things help mental health:
-frequent physical exercise
-phototherapy such as www.litebox.com first thing in the morning
-antidepressants like Celexa (citalopram)
-meditation, learning relaxation techniques and skills

etc.

I don't want to lose you to depression, OK?

Thanks a lot for your hints - I definitely must do something to improve my mental health at the moment!

I have learned to think positive and to listen to early signs of depression to be able to go against it in an early stage.
Of course I can't promise anything, but I'm nearly sure it won't get as bad as a few years ago when I spent a whole summer in darkness and self destruction.
